Haha.

If you think the USDA would EVER tell the truth on the issue of organic food you have shit for brains.

The USDA is in the food BUSINESS. They aren't looking out for our health.

I don't know about the MAYO clinic but i'm sure it's the same story.

Money makes the world go around.

Organic food is big business too.

I don't really know about organic fruits and veggies, but I can't honestly say I'd be all that happy feeding my kids non-organic meats and milk.  We all know how many hormones are pumped into livestock and that just can't have a positive effect on developing children.  It makes me wonder how much of that is responsible for how young girls are starting puberty these days.  My friends daughter had her period at 10, which would have been unheard of 30 years ago but now almost common.

Hardly Hipster.

I am using Bobby Flay`s recipes from this book:

Now go back to eating your bland garbage.

Oh don't worry I make fresh meals with fresh ingredients too but I don't squawk about it here

And you are a hipster lol.

My new herb garden is coming along nicely.  I'm considering planting a veggie garden.

Food scientists/researchers have known this for years according to my college buddy who worked for an unnamed agency. The mentality in today's food market that buying more into the organic market and assuming it's better for you has made alot of farmers wealthy though, as they get paid a hefty premium for organic certified foods. If you get a minute, go look at the guidelines for USDA organic certification- easier than you would think to obtain and certain loopholes exist as to using synthetic fertilizer, different pesticides, regulation, etc.

It's all about the benjamins ;D
