huckabee refuses to take position on AZ law, but...
« on: April 29, 2010, 09:37:40 PM »
He does say "America is like Disney World... once you show your ticket, you shouldn't have to keep showing it over and over!"

he sure doesn't want to disagree with his employer FOX news and their faces like Palin, who cheerlead this RINO masterpiece... but it sounds like he doesn't support it.

Seriously... we know 333's rationale, but how can anyone with even 1/2 a brain support that?

How on earth can someone visually ascertain a reasonable suspicion that someone is illegal?

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

When they start stamping US citizens & legal residents with a giant bar code in the middle of their foreheads, then perhaps there may be some merit to this law, until then, it is a pass for harassing whoever a police officer chooses to harass. Heaven help your country if it is not struck down.

Yeah, lets use the analogy 240 since you want to be cute.

Disney does not allow people (illegals) to jump the fence in the back of the park (Mexico) and use the rides (Govt Services) all day since paying customers (Taxpayers) are supposed to have that privilige .

Additionally, how long do you think Disney would be able to stay open if it allowed millions of people to hop the fence and use the rides all day for free?  Is it fair to paying customers that people get to hop the fence and use the rides for free?

GMAFB - 240 - you are really making a complete ass of yourself lately.

The problem is your description of the bill is stupid. The bill CLEARLY says the police can only enquire about status if they are in the process of pulling the guy over for a crime or suspician of a crime.I find it amazing that you libs are against this.Do you show your ID before getting on a plane? Before getting a motel room? Before getting a drink in a bar if you look young?I could give 1,000 examp;les of people being FORCED to show ID but somehow this law is a racial whitch hunt.Typical idiot libs.

33, I'm not defending any disney model nor huck's statement.

To most people, the fact he refuses to say he agrees with the law - then says a person should not have to repeatedly show identification - would indicate he sure ain't agreeing with the law.

You keep mixing up analysis of politician's statements with defense of it.  I like the law just a *little bit* more every day - and I damn sure would agree with it if I lived there - but the fact SO MANY of our nation's leaders on both sides of the aisle have questions about it...

at the same time an analytical mind would ascertain that he is suggesting that these ppl DO NEED TO SHOW THEIR STATUS at least once...how many have shown their status 240? when did they show their status 240?

so obviously huck is in favor of them showing their status just not everytime....

If those pofs traitors and treasonous scumbags are against it, I see all the more reason to be in favor of it.

funny how your analysis missed what mine found huh? you see there is something about the consistancy of your analyzations 240...they generally find the left leaning liberal view point to them....funny for a conservative to say the least...even an independent...hmmmm I wonder what your analysis of that finding would be?

No, 33 is a reality based person who has to show id:

1.  To cash a check at the bank
2.  Purchase alcohol
3.  Get into any commercial building in NYC
4.  Register a car.
5.  Get on a plane.
6.  Make large purchases in a store with a credit card.

Etc.

can some rightwingers here help 3333 out with some new material.  There's more posts of that kneepad here than tits in the thread of natural college chicks on the sex board.  Maybe there's a book of rightwing insults, I'll pitch in.  I'm just not sure I can take 1000 more kneepad posts for may :D

33,

how many times per day would you be okay with showing your papers to law enforcement?

a number, please.  My number, if I have broken no law, is zero.  What is your number?

Say it, this is getbig.

Not true,I was in timeout yesterday. You can say what you want but you have to use discretion.Once again,if a cop pulls you over while driving they ALWAYS ask for license and registration and proof of insurance. This law then says IF they dont have propper ID then the police can ask to see their papers.IF they have a valid license the police CAN NOT enquire as to their legal status and MUST assume they are legal.WHATS THE PROBLEM?

A driver license does not say if they are legal or illegal in this country? Neither does insurance?

What happens if you are not driving? What happens if you are a passenger in the car?  Do you need proper papers?
