Perhaps some of your points are right, I will grant you that.

I see people going around calling so and so the greatest when they don't have the range to do a full comparison. In the end it doesn't matter, music is music

I listen to alot of Wu-tang, it's not all on the list. I only got 2 LL songs there (he's underrated). I will add inn some Big Pun and the other things you said as I am always open to listen to new stuff. Better to suggest stuff like you do here than to just tell me I don't know anything.

ok, I am off for my morning cardio..I am going to use your list of songs as my playlist.

I would add you on my facebook, but Getbiggers take this shit too serious sometimes.

I see Xerxes is keeping it gangsta in Sweden or Norway or wherever the fuck he is from.

Rap music brought gangsta culture to places it never should have been.

Says the guy who poses with a blue scarf in his picture like he "down" with the crips or something  ;D.

Actually I never wear that bandana out at all. It's just an old black bandana I have. The black bandana isn't gangsta anyway, it's some punk rock shit.

I did grow up in California and lived in some real hoods though. But i'm not into that gangsta garbage, it's very simple, stupid, and played out. It's a scurge to society. Ever since I was a kid I hated the gangsters. They are almost all fucking goons.

I just listen to rap, that is all. I don't want to be a thug/gangster or anything. I was born in one of the poor parts of Tehran and a few of my uncles were drugdealers, got a few relatives in jail etc. I'm glad I live in Norway where there really isn't a "ghetto" to speak of. There are some places with a high concentration of immigrants but he have it too good here to ever call it a "hood", even if they want to pretend they live in a "gangsta hood"  ;D.
make a rock thread to..i like some rap but rocks the shizzle my nizzle  :D

Most rap does fucking suck. Maybe 1% of it is good. But when you hear good rap is is some amazing shit.

no need to curse, we are having a dialog here. Some of lil' wayne stuff is OK, especially the stuff that Drake writes for him.

Big L is too "monotone" his flow/inflection are not dynamic enough, lyrical skills are pretty good though.

Guru was the self professed king of monotone.

I was a huge fan of Kane, going back to 1988 with "Ain't no Half Steppin'".  If we are having a discussion of who is the best rapper/MC ever, we need to include Kool G Rap, Kan'e boy from the Juice Crew.
Kool G is considered one of the best (if not the best) by his peers.

The whole music scene looks like it's gone down the shitter but if you take the time to discover the underground world you'll find alot of good stuff.  My music collection is about 21,500 songs majority of which are unheard off on the radio.

90's rap is where it's at, no autotune!

II unorthodox - Just a little flava

MC Juice (Best freestyler ever)

Da King & I -Tears

Da Grassroots - Precious Metals

Da Bush Babees - Remember We(Where Mos Def got his start) I wanted to post Gravity but couldn't get the youtube vid for it.

Blackmoon - Buck em Down

Peanut Butter Wolf - Run the Line Remix

--------------------------------------------------------------------

And some Good Indie Rock for yalls

Yeasayer - Tightrope

Andrew Bird - Nervous Tic Motion
