Just had dinner with a friend of ours last night about to retire... He's a staff Sargent special forces.. couple of months ago they were in the back country in Afghanistan.. one of the truck got stuck crossing a river... they hired a bunch of locals to try pull it out manually. He sent one of his boys to swim across and hook it up to the truck behind. Once the poor kid got across, one of the locals hit him in the neck with the emergency axe in front of truck... kid got out ok.. 30 stiches... the local got  snipped pink mist style in about 5 seconds....
