Vince and Roz's fitness.. It's a former pub converted to a gym.. I've trained there a couple of times, it's got some funky home made equipment - worth a look but honesty it's not what he thinks it really is... Much better out there in terms of layout and ammenities.

Alex, as a nobody you should do some research. Our current gym site was never a pub! TAB machines were made here. That is why we have an anti-static floor in the main equipment area.

If muscleheads come to the gym they won't know how to use some machines. So they don't try them. What we find is bodybuilders tend to do what they do elsewhere. We have 4 machines in the gym where you can do lying triceps extensions. This is one of the most effective triceps exercises if done properly. It helps to be guided through a workout. I haven't seen this apparatus elsewhere. The old Coogee Gym had one but it had the cables coming from the floor instead of from 5 feet as recommended by Larry Scott. Even Golds Venice doesn't have this machine.

There are a lot of good fitness centers in Sydney now. We have big chains like Fitness First and most clubs are installing gyms. Virgin Active is an excellent facility but needs a full line of equipment before bodybuilders will enjoy using it. What I have seen is the guys like to hang out at gyms where heaps of gals train. We cater to everyone but have never had more women members than men.

My camera is a Canon 5DII. All up my kit cost about $25,000 which includes heaps of L lenses. Equipment is expensive here in Australia.

Here is a shot I took last year outside where the Fitness Expo was held. Sometimes you have to be at the right place at the right time.

Well make an excursion out of it.. Don't take my word for it, it's well worth seeing for yourself. It wont be what you expect to see but the free weight area is pretty good. Make sure you bring a GPS if you do go, you'll need it to navigate from the change room to the main floor.

Warning the purple decor will require you to take some advil once you're done.

WOW!!!!!!!! Geez um I never knew camera's could get so expensive man!! That picture is beautiful, double rainbow and the lighting on buildings is one in a million shot.

I get approached by security when I set my tripod up in the carnival area of the Easter Show in Sydney. They come back to see the amazing photos I capture at night. This is straight out of the camera. It took me a few years to figure out how to properly capture this ride. It is hard to believe this is a sideshow ride called Power Surge and not something done in Photoshop.

Vince why does american/canadian tv/film/movies look different from AUSTRALIAN? like the american makes everything LOOK better (not necessarily higher quality, just makes things look surreal

whereas australian tv is really clear and makes our movies, tv shows look like shit

cant be because america uses NTSC and australias uses PAL... i have emailed the tv networks but nobody responds back to me, would make there shows better visually

Here is a scene from Mount Wilson. A great place to visit up in the Blue Mountains west of Sydney. Those overseas should understand that Sydney is on the same latitude as LA and Atlanta. About 35 degrees from the equator. The Canadian border is 49 degrees. That is why I moved to Australia. That and to get work to support my family in 1971.

The Power Surge photo was done using a 70-200 zoom lens. I had a neutral density filter on the front to cut down on the amount of light by 3 stops. Then I used manual mode 2 seconds @ F16 and zoomed out as I took the photo. This ride is amazing. Every photo you take is different because of the way it moves in 3 dimensions. For this photo I moved the lens while zooming out.
