More protein manages hunger and reduces caloric intake. Those older folks who ate a more protein rich diet loss 40% less muscle over the years than those who ate less protein.

Pretty sure anyone who even has an iota of knowledge regarding diet could have said this. Just good to see it in published writing to support their "theory" when discussing protein to the people who are "OMG PROTEIN IS BAD FOR YOUR KIDNEYS ZOMG".
