Just imagine what Bodybuilders are going to look like 20 years from now.. :'(

They might actually look better (and of course alot bigger) with more advanced supplements, gene alteration etc...this and the last decade might be seen as the lowest point of bodybuilding when looking back...

my point is : why 300 lbs ? the bellies don't "look" much bigger and the waists are horrendously big completely offsetting the size difference

Also the thighs are waaay too big

Bodybuilders nowadays are completely missing the whole point

Now that's a physique!!!  WTF is with the gay bloated mexican wrestler thing at the top 1?!

Who knows. Judging by his physique i'd say NO.
You'd have to ask some of the old boys who lived in that era, but I doubt they'd even reveal the secret. Even if he was running, it was low amounts of dbols that werent as effective compared to the stuff nowadays.

No offense but, how are you judging that? By his physique or just by the fact that everyone else was doing it?

Well, to start, how many nattys do you know can rival the muscular bulk and structure of an offseason schwarzenegger in their 40's?

Good point, but didnt Reg have a large structure to begin with? He was primarily a power guy, so most of his size could have been maintained by heavy eating/powertraining, which is 80% of what Reg did.

And Samir at his best was less than 190 pounds (Same height as Kai) and Serge at his best was 200 pounds even (5'11"-6'0). Don't these current bodybuilders realize that at 80 pounds more weight there are arms aren't really any better than a Robby Robinson, a Vince Taylor, or a Flex Wheeler and there chest's aren't any better than a Danny Padillo, or a Bob Paris. The ONLY thing that is better nowadays are legs, but even the competitors in the 90's had equally good legs, without the HUGE stomachs and waists, which is really where a lot of that extra bodyweight comes from...
