The team will be wearing its "Los Suns" jerseys for Wednesday night's Game 2 against the San Antonio Spurs "to honor [the] Latino community and the diversity of our league, the state of Arizona, and our nation."

if this was really about equal rights and protection then it wouldnt take the form of the "los suns" it would take the form of simply condemning the bill instead of sucking up to hispanics...

I hope the 70% of those who are in favor of this bill boycott this shit

Its not even fun to watch.  I am first and foremost a NY Yankees fan.  Second, I am a UFC fan followed by NHL.  I have come to like hockey a lot more lately.

this isn't new guys, they've been doing los lakers, los suns, los spurs, los dallas etc for a few seasons now.  They do it during hispanic appreciation month whatever that is, and they're doing it now, it's not unusual it just so happens it's occurred now during immigration reform.  it's all about marketing and the nba feels it can tap into the hispanic market.  i'm pretty sure they've played in mexico city in the preseason, it's all part of marketing nothing more.

that's most months 333.  there has been talk that they have tried to make the game more white with the dress code, the zone defense etc.  i've heard some say the rules are to make it easier for white europeans who are usually less athletic and to put more of a premium on outside shooting which generally speaking european players are good at.  this could be all bullsht of course, i mean i don't buy it that it's to make the game more white, just to make it more appealing to others and to open up a more world style of basketball that can appeal to european and asian markets.
