Tough to maintain that sort of conditioning throughout the year and he's said to be competing in every contest.

It`s really not all that hard to do,just a matter of adjusting macros and fluid intake at the correct times.

I think Hide is the new Darrem Charles, winning if not placing VERY well in all the smaller shows but just barely missing at the "O" and Arnold!

Not even close, the only way Hide could win this NY show is if noone showed up. Hide does well in contest where there is a very poor line up, and he comes in shape. He has a very poor structure and very poor muscle separation. There are other Japanese bbers that blow Hide out of the water in terms of structure and separation.
Plus, Darrem has a better shape, size and way better conditioning. He is from the 90's era. He also went toe to toe with Vic for th GNC show, which I think Darrem should have won and came in second to Phil in 2006 in two shows, which both could have gone either way. something Hide could never do.
I do understand you saying that Hid could clean up, but he only has won a third if that, or 4th tier show, one that had nobodies, and he barely got that, one could say it was given to him.

I don't think anyone. Maybe the "team Cutler" guy who used to compete in Canada. I'm drawing a blank on his mind for some reason.

Why he refuses to get that hernia fixed before another show is beyond me.

I agree. His conditioning carries him and earns him a good place, but he has no impressive body parts or any structural advantages going for him. He'll always get beaten by most of the other guys if they nail their conditioning. But most pros fail to dial it in 100% for contests, which is why Hide manages to beat them.

Hide seems as a really good guy always in shape, 3rd tier though sad to say he will never win a big show he doesnt have the "wow factor" or in other words when in the lineup he doesnt stand out.
