no, you fucking moron
calves are genetic......ever see a short stout guy with huge thick calves that doesnt even workout
do you really think dennis wolf is ignoring his weakest bodypart???
this is beyond your comprehension but, not all muscle is the same there are different fiber types.....some are more aerobic, and some more anaerobic.....ever hear of fast twitch and slow twitch fibers
you know how many black guys have high, skinny calves......like ronnie coleman, the greatest bodybuilders of all time, really never developed the muscle group well........no one trained harder then ronnie, do you think he was slacking on his calves too
funny you should mention dorian yates as well.......notice that now.....years after he has stopped competing, after all his other muscles have shrunk back to normal.......his calves remain gigantic and muscular........because he had good calves genetically, adn calves are different then other muscles
care to argue any other stupid points?
Interesting, you call me the moron, yet you jump to conclusions and go straight to name calling.
Well, when it comes to muscle fiber, you have your type 1 and type 2/2b muscle fibers. So, each one takes a different kind of stimulus to make them grow, yes? The slow twitch take higher reps, being the more endurance based muscles, while fast twitch muscles need a bit lower reps and have the greatest potential for weight lifted and hypertrophy. What part of that should a BBer not need to understand to train them effectively?
Do I think Dennis Wolf is ignoring his weakest point? Yes. Just like Dexter, Johnnie Jackson and other guys do. Many of the black race-which do seem to have higher calves but that doesn't mean they can't train them effectively- have great calves; Shawn Ray, Vince Taylor, Chris Dickerson Chris Cormier and Paul Dillet come to mind.
Since you say I want to argue stupid points, I'll bring up how stupid your point about a short stout guy with big calves is. The human body doesn't just "do" anything. It must, repeat MUST, receive some sort of stimulus in order for many things to occur. Muscle growth is just a side effect of a stimulus received by lifting weights. Just as your hand getting callous' when you shovel dirt with no gloves...your whole body doesn't callous, just your hands. All people in the world that have genetic gifts only have a slight advantage over somebody who does not when it comes to muscle building. Dorian Yates said this himself, often comparing himself to Flex Wheeler, who is often giving the dubious honor of having BBings best ever genetics. Yet his calves sucked and he had to resort to site injections (so he says). So, Flex, having the greatest ever genetics, still had to resort to pumping site injections into his calves, arms and shoulders. Go figure.
