Well, its easy. Great benchers do nothing but benchpress in different ways, half, chains, rubberband, explosive benches, heavy benches. Sprinters practice starts, run with a sled etc. The only thing a gymnast is doing every day is exercises in their rings, floor, pommel vault etc. A lot of fighters only train fighting and look like nothing, and then u have the guys who do a lot of weightraning and look like a hero with ripped muscles, and they still don't get better. People always looking for some magic stuff, there is no magic stuff. Training is simple, the records from the 70ies is still around and with all high evolution science, drugs, doctors and stuff we still don't break some 30 year old records. In swimming we do, I don't know why

I think your excercise is good if u are tired of regular training and want some blood rusching through your arms and shoulders, but not if you want to be good in some specific sport.
