You mean on the track. It's impossible to go 207 mph on a dyno.

Thanks,  I don't know shit like they do.  I can fix cars pretty good.  I wing it.  I took autoshop in high school all four years.  But, knowing tech stuff and shit like they know I am in the dark.  If I like something I buy it.  If it runs great even better.  I have to say I am maybe shallow when it comes to cars.  I usually go for looks first or what I can do with it.  I have had some nice cars but my all time favorite is still my Jeep CJ7.  Cause back then I went to Palm Springs alot and camping and loved to go off road.  And in that I could just turn right and go.  I had a chance to buy that red Porsche on the bottom at an unreal price.  I wish I should have but at the time I didn't need it.  Never owned a Ferrari but drove my friends 308 GTB almost every weekend.  I loved going over the St Thomas bridge in San Pedro on the way to Huntington Harbor and through Belmont Shores in 1st gear.  The clubs I went to I would always make sure I drove by the front entrance where the lines were filled with hot chics.  Had to make sure everyone saw me in the car.  AND it did help and make it easier to pick up someone.  As bad as that sounds

so you drove in 1st gear trough the lines of a charity eventt

front rounded lights look very feminine, like a touchy car, and too narrow when compared with the other sport cars, dont get me wrong its a great car by itself

??? That's why if you ask any BMW M car owner which car brands or car they dream/lust after or wanting to buy next most will say Porsche. and by Porsche I mean GT3 or RS, or 911 turbo. I know this for a fact ;) I've owned 3 generations of BMW M cars.

What cars are you comparing it to? 911 Twin Turbos are much wider than any BMW and just as wide as any Ferrari.

Also, far more women drive BMW's than Porches. I NEVER see women driving Porsches.

Your point about the rounded lights is personal opinion. There is nothing that says round lights = feminine. Are you saying that the Jeeps with the rounded lights used in ww II were feminine?

Give me a few minute heads-up and come by and I will go with you so I can throw on some panties.  Maybe they will give us a better deal if both of us get one.

Did you ever meet Tom Selleck when he was filming the magnum PI thing in the 80's?

I love BMW's, but there is no comparison when talking about Porsche. As the saying goes, "there is no subsitute!"

I've had my share time behind an 997 GT3 and 996 turbo, so I don't speak from my ass. They are amazing cars. Just wish I could afford them lol.

What Ryan is trying to say is this. The M3 (E36 and E46) used to do do battle on the tracks with the 911 RSRs and GT3s, by the E36 M3s intro it was billed as a 911 competitor, you get 911 pace for less, this translates into a battle on the tracks. So, on the sales floor the M3 is touted as a entry level 911 Carrera 2S competitor. Which naturally means that the owners of the M3 want to step up to other 911s, it's almost as if BMW has made a unintentional move to make the M3  marketing step up to go to Porsche.
And usually when you go Porsche you don't go back...

not sure bout that parker, but i know bmw m5 v10 hurricane g-power is faster than both

Tuner cars don't count. This Ferrari is factory. If you do anything to a Ferrari engine internally Ferrari doesn't consider it a Ferrari anymore, so the badges must come off, like the Koenig
F50.

As far as the feminine design of Porsche. Porsche and Ferrari historically had curves. Then Ferrari's designers Pininfarina whom they have a partnership with, in the late 70s went with the angular wedge shape. And so did coincidently Gandini who styled Lamborghini's Countach. He also styled the Muira as well.
This transition in Italian supercar styling stuck thru the 90s with it cummulating with Ferrari's F355, it seems all of Ferrari's entry level V8 and the F40 had angular styling.
Lambo continues with the wedge shape, whereas Ferraris have back to curves. Lambo's are aggressively styled, whereas Ferraris are works of beauty.
Porsche has never strayed away from curves, it didn't need to, they are a form follows function company (typically German), where emotions tend to be taken out of the design equation.

It has been said that the best designed cars have equal parts male and female features...

No, I got there in 89' show already ended.  Met him though a few times.  I played on the Hungry Lions Celebrity Softball team and he was on the team.

I have no idea.  This is what he told me.  I have some spec for the motor I think somewhere.  If I find them I will post them and maybe you can get an idea from those.  I know it had a Ruff Motor, xtra-large Andial Intercooler, twin turbos and it sounded awesome.  I have no idea what it had in it but I remember that shit.  It had a full roll cage and these seats.  Maybe you can tell something from the guages.  He sold it for $600,000

Some of the best ones are the older ones, pre traction control. Try driving a 91 964 911 Turbo, versus today's...no need for Viagra.

Here is the thing, the 599 has a detuned version of the Enzo engine in it, always has. The Ferarri FXX is base on the Enzo and had taken the engine to 750 hp and then to 800-900 hp. So the 599 XX has the same engine and puts out 700, which means it was detuned for that. And now, the 599 GTO has 670 (661 SAE) hp....all from the same Enzo based V12....

I see a Mercedes SL65 AMG Black Series vs Ferrari 599 GTO comparo.
Both have 661 hp, both are super GT cars that are lightened versions of the standard car. Except the 599 GTO is a detuned version of a rolling laboratory 599XX. Which one would win?

on a track the 599 would murder a SL65
