Yup. He was a buffoon.

Yeah, he was a scumbag that had it coming. Not that some of the black leaders in South Africa like Zuma and that dipshit Malema are any better.

Eugene Terreblanche was an old fool. He was a white supremist that foolishly felt South Africa should never be ruled by a black government.  I never agreed with him or his politics.

But.... beating him to death in his bed with clubs is not the solution.  He had very little political following in South Africa.  Two wrongs don't make a right.  This is very bad for the advertising of the Soccer World Cup in South Africa..... nothing justifies murder and crime.

He was reportedly beaten to death with pipes and pangas (machetes) by two black men, one of them a minor, allegedly over “a wage dispute”. Terre’Blanche’s body was found on the bed with facial and head injuries.

he wasn't affiliated to
Nazi's in any way.

He was a far right
extremist, who in the
end, hardly had a following
after the time he spent in jail
for beating up a black petrol attendant.
(SA equivalent to a mexican  :P)

He was no buffoon either,
troubled drunkard yes,
but no buffoon.

He gets portrayed as the typical
Afrikaner Rascist Boer, nothing
could actually be further from the
truth. Most Afrikaners embrace
the new political direction, albeit
with some distrust due to POLITICAL
issues and crime, definately not RACE.

Sure he was. Showing up at speeches with old, ripped underwear on display. Thinking he was a gifted poet and giving readings. And, best, delusions of being a military commander that cost some of his followers their lives. Embarrassing through and through.

Add: And his movement's symbol, visible over his left shoulder, was modeled on the Nazi swastika.

Goes to show that racial hatred and irrational acts of violence are everywhere and not just one nation or people.

You guys have no idea what you are talking about, Eugene Terreblanche was a genius, a far thinking man who fully understood and comprehended the situation in SA.
He was not a racist but a realist and a full blooded patriot.

All hail to Eugene Terreblanche, your death will not be forgotten nor forgiven - revenge is at hand brother - SA will once again belong to the people that build this country what it is now.

SA is a complete tragedy - an unbelievable gorgeous stunning breathtaking country, and its doomed - make no mistake, SA is complete and utterly bollixed.
God knows how many uneducated generations of black people due to the fucked up racial policy are now in command in SA - truly horrifying.
If there was every a country that has a racial war looming over them (apart from USA) - SA is the one.

Jesus, you just have to let
the people in SA know about
this looming war, at the moment
we are too excited about the
World Cup to worry about the
pending race war.

I'm sure you have your
pulse on all things South
African over there in the state.

I'm sure you speak from
first hand experience?

Rather focus on the
car bombers in your own
country than an old
geezer clubbed to death for
a few bucks on another
continent.

ET was done. Retired, not involved anymore. Just like the AWB, very little support. Don't know how smart he was, but have my views... either way, sad way to go. Stabbed around 20 times, naked, etc, that kind of violence indicates killers on drugs, or hate-crime, emotion driven.

Nothing wrong with ANC opposition, but they were/are far right wing, bit too extreme in views. Not too smart. I mean, who in their right mind re-designs a swastika as a logo, and expects to be taken seriously? They needed a brain behind the operation, Terblanche wasn't it. And apartheid can't return. Love it or hate it, thats a fact.

Speaking of extreme, the ANC Youth league leader, Julius Malema, the pet that prez Jacob Zuma keeps on a loose leash, is a very well supported and outspoken, beyond controversial individual, if not restrained, will lead to trouble. "kill the boer", etc, are not things to be condoned, no-one is stopping him, could lead to trouble, especially with talk of nationalization, and land redistribution.
There is too much foreign investment in SA, and a constitution preventing such acts, for another Zimbabwe to develop, but certain people are easily excitable by leaders making promises, and big talk. Toying with big issues. And real trouble could ensue. This government we have now, is the most power-hungry, corruption driven monster ever. Zuma is a polygamist that doesn't believe in the danger of aids nor aids tests, been in court for taking bribes in arms deals, accepting gifts (cars, etc) as a member of parliament, had a court case for being accused of rape, etc. And to top it all off, they're big friends with Mugabe. Scary shit.

This murder was carefully planned, not some sporadic incident, as police investigations now reveal.
They phoned the police after the murder and confessed, and now have the ruling party paying for their legal fees....

SA's biggest agricultural union (TAU) who represent the farmers of the country, sent Zuma an open letter voicing their concerns about their safety and requesting a meeting with the President or at least a reply.
The letter was ignored. No reply.

doubt it was planned at all. it appears to have been spontaneous.

TAU is concerned for farmers safety? Farmers have been shitting themselves and being taken out left, right and center since the 90's! Robberies, rapes and such crimes don't make CNN, but they occur. Usually its the elderly whites that are targeted.
There was some sicko that fed a labourer to a lion like 15 yrs ago. that made the news!
