I'm a positive pessimist when it comes to our present economic situation and the hopes for recovery.
I don't think we've come anywhere near to 'bottoming out' just yet and I think we'll have more of the same (or worse) for the next three to five years.
And in the case of Las Vegas, it's gonna take many years longer before we get back to the good old days we all lived through 4 years ago.
I hope I'm wrong, but 20 years from now Las Vegans will still be hoping for a semi-complete recovery. But the big problem then will be, "Where the hell are we going to get the water to acommodate the locals and all these weekend tourists ad what do we do with these boarded up hotel/casinos?"
