I think 2 things are interesting about this. Centopani famously had weak legs a couple of years ago, so the fact he's got them big enough for people like you to say they are good says quite a lot about his 'heart', and the value of his time off and concomitant improvements.
People always like the most recent hype and forget about last year's hype, so you are one of the people who next year will say Roelly is 'done' and next year's NY winner is the future.
As a side note, it seems intelligent to take some time off to improve, in a Dorian Yates style, if necessary. Yes Roelly beat the mighty Hide (who looked phenominal, probably should have won, but isn't really top tier pro is he?) and an off Wolf and Freeman, but his condition is inferior to Centopani. We'll see I guess, Roelly probably has better genes and may go further in the long run, but Centopani's dilligence is to be
commended.
good observation. But, I don't bandwagon and jump on hype.
I had said last yr that Roelly was one to watch. Others doubted me. I had said that Phil wasxone to watch. Prior to that, I was saying Richard Jones, prior to him winning his pro card. I am a fan of Omar Deckard and Lionel Brown, two guys who haven't produced, but can do so. Also Brandon Curry.
I think Auguste will get his pro card as well.
Another dude watch would be Ben Paluski and Fankhouser.
Hide is not mighty, Hide has structural and aesthetic and separation problems. He fan only out condition third tier pros, after that he is nothing big...there are Japanese dudes out there blow Hide away.
About Centopani, getting his legs big is one thing in the off season, having them big when diet down is another. Melvin has this problem, as does Deshawn Grimes.
