I was only kidding about his training effort but I think my other point is valid....The knock on Nasser was his back, glute and ham development and dryness.....and he never once came onstage with any notable improvement....it was always the same old Nasser in the judges eyes

Lol. Where did I ever state I thought yates should win? Personally I think Nasser looked better in 97. But I understand why they went with yates. Small arms vs NO back. Muscle shape isn't really judges according to the criteria, so thE deformed arm wasn't really an issue. If Nasser had anything. Lose to a back he would and should have won.

Symmetry is part of the judging criteria and a smaller arm/arms would also have a negative impact on proportions.
