Even as Doink, Borne still looked good in the ring.
He's still the only clown I’ve ever seen execute a flawless, textbook German suplex.

I would also have liked to see him get a better gimmick - even by early 90’s standards the “evil clown” thing kind of sucked.
Ironically enough, it brought him his most national notoriety.

And I know he was using the gimmick on the indy circuit until WWF sent a “cease and desist.”
He must still allude to it with his current character.
You can see in that clip above that he has some shades of clown makeup & die in his hair - perhaps a nod to the latest Joker incarnation.

Personally I liked the heel Stephen King type "evil clown" / multi personality gimmick he had. Its when they made him a face and gave him a midgit valet that his charactor got stupid.

His fued with Crush was really lame.

So was Crush.

Aside from being Superstar Eadie’s “replacement,” I didn’t mind when Adams was part of Demolition.
But, when he became “Crush from Kona” - with the highlighted mullet & neon orange singlet, I wondered how they could take away Demolition & give me this.

His feud with Macho wasn’t bad, but I think a lot of that was down to Macho & his Flair-like ability to make just about any opponent look good.

I guess none of that matters now…
Crush is gone,
Doink is a Heath Ledger rip-off,
And Duggan wrestles in swim trunks.

How was RAW last week?
Actually it was great! Biggest pops of the Night were when Bret Hart came out and when the Undertaker unexpectedly came out. A good night for Raw. I enjoyed myself. The merchandise booths were RAMMED like crazy. Some interesting tidbits:

ALL derogatory signs against John Cena were confescated. Even signs like "Cena Sucks". WWE is very protective of their posterboy.

Cena got some pretty loud boos throught the night including a loud "Cena Sucks" chant. Obviously when I re-watched it the next day, there were mysterious cheers put into the tv taping  ;).

The Bella Twins are the hottest diva's going right now. Very HOT. The TV doesn't do them justice.

Best match of the night was Edge vs Christian. Good pops and great match.

From what I've heard, Bozo had a very impressive swinging neckbreaker.
