Like most you, I've watched many movies and documentaries about prison life and one of the most fascinating aspect is sexuality.
You have a bunch of "macho" men secluded from the outside world, they are supposed to be the epitome of bad.  In many cases these men will be locked up for decades to life.
Obviously there will be people already gay in prison.  But when does a man say "fuck it I'm gonna be in here for 20 or more years, I might as well like guys".  Obviously it doesn't happen to everyone but it happens to alot.  Were these guys always gay?  Is the yearning for human connection so great the mind makes adjustments to compensate for lack of women these men "turn gay"?

In many cases these men continue being gay when they are released or bisexual.  The same thing happens to the women.  I've always wondered how far must a straight man be pushed to go gay cause he's given up hope. Even the "tough" ones that rape....still gay.

I don't expect any of you geniuses to have an answer and know none of you will including the gay ones...Please don't embarrass yourselves with pathetic one-liners.

that is very astute......the homosexuality observed in prison, at least from an observer's POV, is some bizarre amalgam between the need for human connection and a sadistic need to dominate another all rolled into the same act.

Obviously there's much more about human sexuality we don't know about and it's not as cut and dry as we like it to be.  I think we have to separate the rapists and power trippers and the guys that get boyfriends in prison.  The aforementioned that weren't gay are the ones I want to concentrate on.

My step brother was in prison and he told about a tranny in there.  He told me they kept it separate  because it looked to much like a broad.  It had tits ass implants and everything.

I have spoken at length in the past as to my theories behind Transsexual fetish appeal to Straight men, and the possibly psychological reasons behind it, but to a complete lack of interest, and Gay remarks. If anyone cares I can probably repost some of it.

Raping or punking weaker inmates in prison has nothing to do with being gay. Go to prison and figure it out. Being a black man that with 40% of your entire male population incarcerated tells me your a fucking weenie or you were raised among women.
