Ya I see what your saying about the products that are already marked down but you're limited to what ever happens to be expiring at that point. Just remember you are able to obtain Cell Tech as its expiring because it sat on the shelf for two years with out selling because of the price. You're capitalizing on their expensive pricing, which isn't a bad thing for you.
If you want to try something that just hit the market than you're definatley paying more. Also remember the GC costs $15 per year. Also many GNCs do not function like the one your at where you can use the card all month.
Just some food for thought.
I can't remember the last time I paid for a GNC card. Usually, when I buy a whole bunch of stuff and my card's about to expire, the cashier simply gives me an updated sticker.
That's why I say all it takes is a little patience. Why buy something when it first hits the market, when I know it will likely be HALF to A THIRD of that price, six months from now?
People wonder why I like MuscleTech supplements. The answer is that they simply have good stuff. The only issue is price. All I have to do it WAIT and when the prices drop, I give the products a run. I know GAKIC is a good product. I used the powdered version back in 2005/2006, when it got discontinued because of the horrible taste. GNC marked them down as much as 65%. I haven't touched GAKIC since then.
NaNO Vapor is great stuff, too. The last time I used it, I got the RTDs (4-pack for $3). And thanks to MuscleTech doing the "Pro Series" thing, the previous versions of Cell-Tech and Nitro-Tech Hardcore are (or were) dirt-cheap. I ended up with a 4-lb jug of the previous verison of Nitro-Tech Hardcore (Strawberry-Banana) for about $17.
But, I'm not a big fan of Nitro-Tech, to be honest with you. It tastes funny and certain flavors give me a headache. I'll never forget how nauseous the now-defunct Orange Creme version made me. Granted, the 1-lb trial jugs were only $4, but even then I don't think I got the better part of the deal.
