Yeah I had:

Lobster Bisque
A MASSIVE Chicken Parmagiana and a side of home fries
And that huge cake (had to take the rest of it home, could barely finish it)

But yeah the water was pretty good too, so was the diet coke LOL

HAHAHAHAH nice!

I wouldn't say a bacherlor's  is really worth shit, I had read some statistics like, only 25% of Americans have a bachelor's degree, so its more rare than you think!

I think I can honestly say I thought Undergrad was harder than the masters....   maybe it was the work experience that really helped me prepare for the masters!  Whatever I'm so glad to be done, I was so over it these last few weeks!

Timforgatay, I finished undergrad back in 2005 at the same school I did my Masters (GWU), also in Engineering, and at my undergrad graduation they actually gave us our authentic diplomas that day on stage.

I thought it was gonna be the same way tonight, but guess they really will mail it to us!

Tomorrow they are having a big graduation for the entire University (tonight was just for the individual departments) at the National Mall here in DC, and the guest speaker is Michelle Obama...  but I'm too lazy to go to that, you gotta be there at 7:30 am, LOL that ain't happening!

Undergrad was more difficult because you had to take other classes besides your major. Undergrad was more difficult for me. I had to take four foreign languages, certain math and history classes. Blah.

Yeah, undergrad was brutal. In undergrad I had about a 3.4 GPA, which is about a B+ or something. In my Masters I had a 3.9 which is an A. I just found the MA to be more enjoyable, and I was allowed to take classes that I WANTED!

Social constructionism always made the most sense to me. Everyone's reality is dependent upon their subjective experiences and truths they attach to the external world. I don't see how it can be any other way. Hmmmm..............

Ok you're over my head there.  But is there no common ground?  I'd be more inclined to say people's interpretations are colored by their life experience, but surely we can agree that the external world is commonly experienced and independent of individual interpretation.

My principal objection to Neitzche's thought (about which I know very little) is his villification of the so-called Apolonian.  Strikes me that posessing reason is part of being human, and is even presupposed by any analysis of how cool Dionysian behavior supposedly is.

Yes, I agree. When I stated that "everyone reality is dependent upon..." I didn't mean that we literally experience reality differently, unless you suffer from delusions or hallucinations. For most people, their senses experience the same external world; that is, if one person sees a tree outside, there is a good chance another person will see the same tree. So, yeah, that is the common ground. However, the interpretation that is attached to that tree or any other object in the external world is dependent on interpretation, which is often colored by life experiences.

Hope I am making sense.  :-X

I think we're on the same page.
