Why was Levrone never Mr. O? I mean, after careful examination (okay, not really) I have come to the conclusion that Levrone doesn't have any flaws. Most bodybuilders have flaws: Lee Priest (small chest), Nasser (lack of a back), Dorian (arms and stomach at times), Shawn Ray (I guess not enough size to hang with the "Mass Monsters), etc, etc. Even Ronnie Coleman had a flaw (calves).

 I always thought BBing was about having a complete package. If that is the case, Levrone is definitely the uncrowned Mr. O. There should be no reason why he shouldn't have one Sandow under his belt. Was it politics? Can someone please provide me with an explanation.

Yeah, but at times coleman had a distended stomach. Wouldn't that alone give the Mr. O to Levrone? Shows he is a more complete bodybuilder. I always though to win the Mr. O you had to have every body part look good. Can't always say that for Ronnie. But you can always say that for Levrone.

he had some success in winning the arnold, and other shows, unfortunately he came along in an era where he had to compete with dorian and ronnie and it didnt work out for him. If he competed now days theres no question he would be mr olympia

I personally believe that all the judges knew that Kevin was a part time bodybuilder who was only on stage because of drugs that made the muscles look bigger then they should. And time shows they where exactly right in their thinking if they believed that. Today Kevin looks like a crack addict and Ronnie still lives in the gym. Either way they made the right choice in their representation IMOP. Kevin loved the booze and opiates and Ronnie loved the weights.

I don't think I would consider his chest a weak bodypart. I just think his shoulders and tris were so damn big. However, I don't think his chest is that off to the point of considering it a flaw or weak bodypart.

levrone definitely deserved to win an olympia or 2 in ronnie's era but he too had his flaws.. his arms/shoulders/traps oversized the rest of him.. he had good chest but somehow narrow and small for his huge arms/shoulders.. it's very clear in his MM poses!!.. he legs where good (at their best) but his calves always lacked some size..

I've seen that second pic many times, but this is the first time I noticed that that is a V shaped dip bar. Very rare to see them, I want one. Even rarer is a complete V shaped, not U shaped.

Can you get the info and share it in here?  To be honest I used to think opiates were a big deal but the more people I met who had experiences with them, the more I realized that mainlining anything is a bad idea.  Some of these drugs probably would have reputations no worse than alcohol if not for mainlining.  With that said, I am a non-drug user but I am not one to judge those who are who keep their habits under control.

Who knows, who cares. Kevin seems like a cool dude and rumors are just that. I don't want to bash a guy who was a pretty fucking awesome bodybuilder. FYI, rumor was that Shawn was totally jealous of Kevin so I'm semi sure that the opiates comment was BS from a guy who ate tranny cock with a fork and knife and was jealous of other bodybuilders.
