They were screaming about Obama going after gun rights, etc. I"m sure you'll see the video.

Obama got an F from the Brady campaign. Has he introduced a single gun legislation bill?

Yes, he's a kenyan marxist, etc etc... but specifically, what has Obama done to infringe on our gun rights? Or is he actually pretty much acting like a repub on this issue? I don't Bush did *anything* on gun rights. He let states decide, and a LOT of them moved to permits

He let brady bill sunset - just stayed out of it.

Obama seems to be following the same path - staying out of the states' way as they move to allow more permits. Thoughts? I don't agree with "Well, obama WANTS to do this..." Cause I "WANT" to bang J-lo. Doesn't mean it'll happen.

Is he pretty much doing what Bush did, as far as gun rights? And if so, what the hell are Palin and beck bitching about? Are they mind-readers?

dude, ammo prices spiked before obama even took the oath. Every gunowner in my town was buying shit by the 10,000 rounds. Every website was sold outta everything. We talked it about it all the time on getbig.

I can't blame obama for that... I blame gun store owners, survivalists, and people who just decided to wait until Jan 2009 to fill their closets.

Unless you can list where Obama said "i'm going to ban/raise price of ammo..." it's nothing more than paranoid behavior leading to shortages.

Look, I admire the NRA. They 'keep em honest'. We need them to keep the libs from getting too froggy in office, and we need the far-left groups to keep the masses infomed when the right goes too far.

The point of this thread - is Obama going after gun rights.. or does his 2nd amendment policy mirror bush - just like he did on the wars?

However, Health Care, Crap & Tax, and the stim bill were more important and I dont think he wanted to get involved in a gun law fiasco while pushing those other items.
