awesome news.   Who are the KY senators?  What party currently holds the 2 seats?  Can paul win the senator job?  That would be terrific.  This man could probably win a primary in 2012 (or at the latest 2016) based upon his last name alone!

Thing is how relevant is the Tea Party of the Ron Paul era to the "Tea Party" we see today.
In fact it appears that most of the current Tea Partiers wouldn't even know Ron Paul, let alone support him.

I can only hope Rand Paul brings some common sense to politics.

Shocking that a Rand Paul victory brings out a shot at Palin by you.Ron Paul is also VERY VERY different from Bob Barr a guy YOU voted for in the last election[or claim you did]and he is also VERY VERY different for a guy named Charlie Crist who you seem to love as well.Whats your point?

I wsa the first getbigger to post "Rand Paul is gonna run!!!!!!!!!!!!" several months ago.  I support the shit out of the guy, and his POSITIVE anti-Obama agenda.

He attacks the spending.  He doesn't mock community organizers, make up shit about gun bans, etc.  See the difference?

Community organisers SHOULD be mocked as they are little more then rabble rousers who GET NOTHING accomplished!!All one needs to do is look at the community Obama "orgainsised" to see what good work he did.Community organisers are black democrats who have only ONE GOAL get as many fools to the polls as possible to vote for democrats.They do NOTHING for the people living there!!!

Agreed and I think most current Tea Partiers don't even know exactly what Ron (or Rand) Paul stands for. Paul's positions might be considered too libertarian for the Palin fans.

Didnt like his victory speech, there were some things in there that I didn't feel combfortable with. What was up with the Hugo Chavez comment and why is  he playing up to the modern version of the Tea Party movement so much when it pretty much got taken over by the ass hats that were mocking Ron for years? I like his father way better.
