I wonder if he carries so much baby fat on his legs because hes never really gotten peeled? Question for you competitors... If you get super shredded, does the fat redistribute more evenly as you gain weight after you comp? And is it easier to lose it on your problem areas?
Ive dieted down to see what I was working with, but my skin just sucks for a BB.. Its not tight cause I was overweight when I was younger, so when I get super lean it just doesnt look right.  :-\

it is definitly harder to get the baby fat off the first time around. i have found with each passing show it you seem to reach a certain condition earlier in your prep than you did the time before. but those fat cells are always there- they don't disappear.

but your first sentence is pretty accurate- he has never gotten the baby fat off his legs, so he's having a hard time bringing them in now.

matt t- great vascularity bro! too bad vascualrity has nothing to do with conditioning. you havent addressed anyones thoughts- is that pic supposed to shut the 'haters' up? we're all wrong and your right because you took a pic of your arm? lol.

Youre still a ways from being really shredded dude. But you do look pretty damn good. And I totally see what everyone is saying... youre legs are way behind your upper body conditioning wise.

Quick Question.. Why do you refuse to listen to any of the other competitors advice (not mine, lol, I wouldnt be able to give you shit for advice)... Especially when doing it your way, you come in looking the same every year, soft every year, holding a bit of fat especially in the legs every year... Nothing ever changes, you never place better, yet you refuse to listen to any of these people, when even if they dont have the genetics for shape, they slaughter you in conditioning? WHY?

ESPECIALLY when almost everyone who looks at your photos comes to the same conclusion..., you obsess over your weight, and you dont allow yourself to come in excellent condition? Are you really that deluded that you cant just admit that maybe, just maybe, you need to diet a little longer and come in lighter to be in really good shape?  ???

Oh i don't care what weight class i end up in im assuming it will be light middle, but depends how much i come down i might squeak in as welter weight.  Im in the best condition iv ever been in for 9 weeks out from a show, yes my legs are behind as thats where the fat and water comes off last some guys the total opposite.  I have striations in my quads when i flex them or squeeze them down veins all over, which u can't see in those dark pics, and my glutes r starting come in.  The show hasn't taken place, so why are you freaking out like iv already competed and this is my end condition?.  I still have 9 freakin weeks! Wait tell you see me on stage and then make your assessment.   My upper body and lower body condition is better than it was on stage last year at this point. Stay tuned  :P

Im not freaking out Matt, everyone is trying to tell you that you arent self evaluating what you REALLY look like. Every year the same thing happens for you. Every year youre soft. I am by no means a competitor or know what it takes, but if youre serious about being a competitor, why dont you listen to the people that can objectively look at you and tell you what they see. YOU see something completely different than everyone else. You show pics, and when people say, hey man, this is whats up, you just give everyone 101 reasons why its not the way it appears.  ??? And these arent people hating, these are people trying to help you be better!
But no, all those guys that have proven they come in peeled are wrong Matt, and you know better, when you have yet to show up shredded.  ???
You look amazing. You have amazing genetics. This is fact. But you just never seem to really stop, look in the mirror and say, this is what needs to be done. There are two dozen people IN THIS THREAD saying you need to say fuck your weight and lose a lot of weight.

I hope you prove me wrong. I really do. You have kickass genetics and you have the potiential. I just agree with Che. Youre lazy and too delusional to take good advice.

geezus Matt you have to be the most arrogant self centered person around, all these people, ESPECIALLY the one who won his show and looked a million times better than you trying to help and you think you are all that.  Wow, stay tuned for epic failure at showtime

on a side note people, in Saskatoon where this cro magnon midget is from, people don't critique him, they just kiss his ass and tell him how wonderful he looks. Thats the difference between there and here, here people have the balls to speak the truth, in Stoon, well, simply no balls

looks very good at 9wks,anybody here that has competed have there 9wk out pics to compare?whether or not he's doing mr toronto ymca or this show that grants 2 pro cards he is taking the same road,he is training/dieting to win.yeah matt gets people worked up sometimes but he gats ragged for actually looking good.so don't compliment him so much how he has the greatest genetics and not using them to his full advantage,he'll figure it out eventually.

Who cares what we look like 9 weeks out? The guys giving matt advices showed him how shredded he was; and that he won the contest, and matt totally ignored him and all the other competitors that were doing nothing but trying to help him. But I guess you can lead the horse to water, but you cant make him drink.
Hopefully all this will fuel matt to diet like a madman and show everyone up, But I get the feeling right now hes sitting there thinking "I look so fucking awesome, those dumbasses dont know shit, I am the motherfucking best in this show! Hells yeah Im badass!"

12.5 Weeks out here 187lbs.  I'm aiming for the Light-middle weight class which is from 167-176.1lbs.  I want to come in right at the top 176lbs, but my condition is what counts so might be lighter we'll see.  So i have 12 weeks to deal with 10lbs.  Will be interesting to see how it all turns out.
