Some of you guys like Obama only slightly more than Sarah and thus could not vote for her.

See the difference? I am not an objective voice on this issue by any stretch and make no pretense of this.

I honestly 10000% believe that Obama poses a clear and present danger to this nation on many levels and is at his base core a radical marxist who utterly despises this nation, its history, etc.

I dont feel the same about Palin.

This kind of thinking is EXACTLY the problem.

People "settled" for Obama because, well, he's not Bush II (as mccain was perceived to be).

If you want to "settle" for Palin because, well, she's not Obama... that's fine. A LOT of repubs and middle voters believe she's a moron. Maybe they're right, maybe not. But that is the perception and much of it is her own fault. Lib media didn't make her squint at her hand notes for "tax. energy. raise spirits".

So you settle for a turd, and the turd will lose to obama.

newt is probably the best in terms of policy, but as beach bum will remind you, newt is a lying cheating hypocrite.

INSTEAD, why not make it about some of these guys. #6 on the top senate list jumps out at me. Or, #1 on the bottom congressional list is very intriguing to me.

Actually, after spending the first part of 2010 destorying Obama on record on most positions - he is now touring southern states, speaking to NRA, quietly raising his profile. yes, the media covers Beck and palin screaming about obama gungrabbing (which is a lie)... but Thune helped talk about his PASSION for weapons - very positive. he's raising his profile, speaking constantly lately. I love this guy.

But, I get your point. Obama was hardly the most qualified of the Democratic nominees. But, he stirred the most passions and got the nod.

For Palin to beat Obama, she has to convince the "independents" that she has the solutions to get people JOBS. Along with that, she must be able to place the problems that Obama has caused SQUARELY ON HIM, instead of letting the mainstream media and others blame everyone else for his mess.
