Sadly the evolution of Black colleges, Miss Black America and the Black Caucus came directly from the whites who refused to allow these people to be involved in government, pageants, college etc etc. You ignore your own white ignorance, discrimination and actions and then turn around and grow angry at the people who turn to entrepreneurship and create their own organizations, colleges, pageants etc so that they can have representation. Personally, I have no problem with black colleges, pagents etc. Its called free association and if people want to freely associate with members of their own race, religion, background, weight, music tastes, etc, I' ok with that.
