Posing on stage = not a real sport (anyway training in the gym and being a bodybuilder 24/7 is the hardest sport you can find...)

Beating the shit out of an other man and being a "champion" = not a real sport plus I believe it makes the world worse...

Real sport = for example basketball just to name one...

fighting is the worlds first true sport... it goes back soooooooo long in human history.

And no training mma or wrestling is a shitload harder then staying on a diet injecting aas and lifting weights. you have No idea. Nor do you have Any fucking idea what it takes to have great wrestling endurance.

lets ask coach he should know.

Coach, whats harder staying on a diet and lifting weight or a intense 12 week training program leading up to a fight?

u don't know how hard it is to wrestle for even one minute without getting exhausted, you stupid dumb ass. You need to be in  better lasting conditioning than runners, that's how hard fighting is.

very very ironic coming from a guy that does his "battles" oiled up in a thong infront of a male audience....
You are spending half of your life on bodybuilding message board and still don't know what is bodybuilding all about... (Or maybe you just try to being a "cool guy" in front of the other members with all these posts...I hope that's the truth. But it's still sad anyway... ;D)

and you have spent most of your life on aas trying to make up for your lack of height, whats more pathetic? :)

Its like figure skaters saying that its rougher the nhl..

I'm not talking about how hard the fighting is... It's VERY hard I know. But beating somebody for money in front of the audience and being a star...I can't believe this shit.

What is bodybuilding all about? You lift weights, then go on stage and pose. What else is there to it?

2 guys going at it in a cage. One loses one win. Its the purest most exiting sport there is. No weapons no nothing, just hands and fists.

you cant understand why the gladiator games were popular either?

Hey devilsmile, poles are slavs, just as are russians, and most other eastern europeans, and yes they are inferior to the other white tribes, but the cream of the crop isn't the Aryans or the Nordics, it is the Scotch-Irish ;> Just ask the Alpha Male Clint Eastwood about that :> And speaking of Scotch-Irish, I would imagine that the King of Cool, Mr. Steve McQueen, was of Scotch-Irish ancestry as well :)

One of the few sports pepople could say "you cant talk shit about no one if you havent done it yourself" and I would almost agree.

Even though someone might fight like a pussy it takes guts standing inside a cage knowing your about to kick ass or get your ass kicked and being Ok with that.
(if you tap right away like a bitch on the other hand its another story lol)

I think boxing is a more "noble" sport, just two guys and their fists. Just my opinion. I think they're both awesome sports though.

Then there is limits, take old school valetudo for example, you can pretty much do Anything with our own body thats more

...PUUUUUUUUUURE baby lol.

Imo 12 rounds boxing match does a shitload more damange to you.

you saw the point at 2:54, where Marius forgot every single thing he had learned about MMA.  At that point, he was just a tired powerlifter in a fight.

I love these fights, where one man is super skilled, and the other is not.  Guys don't try to protect themselves or defend as well.  They get beaten to hamburger.

I don't know about noble... human being wrestles, kicks and punches... why "couldn't you" do these things, why limit your self only to boxing. Even though a boxer would out box any mma fighter, I just don't agree with the noble part.

It's like saying "civilised warfere" is the way to go... dude, how are you civilised killing people in the name of good god  ::), there is no such thing, in my oppinion go all the way.

bring back head buts  :D

Posing on stage = not a real sport (anyway training in the gym and being a bodybuilder 24/7 is the hardest sport you can find...)

Beating the shit out of an other man and being a "champion" = not a real sport plus I believe it makes the world worse...

Real sport = for example basketball just to name one...

The idea of two men boxing or fighting in any capacity, even in the likes of MMA, has long been considered a sport even before mainstream sports like baseball, basketball and hockey became so popular.

Think of the gladiator games in the Roman Colosseum.  Two men, who've spent a life training in the art/sport of fighting, come together to do battle, in order to determine who is the better fighter/athlete.

Some will argue that the thought of a man spending close to a year's time in the gym, preparing for a glorified beauty pageant is more of a sad thing that promotes vanity and detrimental physiological effects.

What do these men truly accomplish?  You spend a year training as hard as you can in the gym, injecting steroids into your body vigorously, hoping that you are able to somehow come in holding a little more muscle and less fat than the rest of them AND then to top it off, you have to wax your body, spray on a bronzer of some type and then go up on stage only to parade around in a thong side-by-side other semi-nude men, who are greased up and moaning from pose to pose.  To make matters worse, when you are individually judged, you are expected to go up on a stage and practically perform identical to that of a male stripper at a gay bar.  They play some nice dance music, to which the professional bodybuilder dances to, while waving to the crowd in hopes that they would cheer him on.

Face it man, professional bodybuilding is the love child of both a male strip joint and a beauty pageant.
