Well, if you like flute rock, you probably can't get better.

/used to get blasted to 'thick as a brick.' still makes no sense.

Thin Lizzy for me from that era, although different genres. Closer to that kinda stuff I'd pick Pink Floyd. Although Led's song, "Over the hills and far away" is my fave.
