No the english players aren't overrated. They proove week in and week out that they have the quality and ability to play at the highest levels. As for Capello I honestly dont think it's his fault we played badly either, though I believe he must go for the poor performance.

honestly mate, the question you ask is the one we ourselves are all asking, why is it that when the players turn out for england that they play so badly. John Terry is a world class centre back...but today he looked like a schoolboy...they asked Frank Lampard the same question today and he couldn't give an answer as to why we dont perform in world cups. Whatever the case is, something has to change. For England to underperform so consistently in international tournaments is totally unnaceptable, we have more registered players than any other country, a world class league, invest more money in the national side than any other  nation, and have no shortage of quality players.

If somehow an answer comes up, i'll let you know...no doubt we wont find one

as good as argentina is playing...i'd have to go with the brasil and its' no brand name squad outside of kaka and robinho, have been dogging dunga from day one.  3 of the top 7 defenders in the world protect their goal from 30 yds in...where as in past it was 3 good scorers and no defense.  even with "B" team players they can counter strike.  their road to the finals is GOLD plated and this team of no and club bodies wont take it for granted like the star studded 06 squad.  dunga teams have had a rich history of mugging argentina...just dont give the space to create and play a finesse game but that's to dunga's credit.  argentina will have back-back wars vs Germany and Spain...strong euro squads picking up steam.  Ronaldo is about to come up short again.  If he looked good, it was because Brasil had nothing to play for.

Dunga's "No Body wants us "B" team" may be the ticket Brasil needed to bring home #6.
