  • I'm totally Brolic, bro!
So having just read the article on m.go.licio.us on cold weather BCS bowl games, I'm glad to see there are still people out there willing to give the cold a shot when talking about bowl games.  I personally love snow football, and watching my team win in the snow is even better.

Patriots fans do this every year (among other teams), and the NFL has set a precedent with their recent decision on a New York Super Bowl for 2014.  I've heard many a student want to kill me when i wish for some snow late in the season, but I'm still hoping to see a full blown snow game before I graduate.

What's everyone's opinion on this? Pros/cons on this kind of game? Would it help solve the "is the SEC truly better outside of their warm comfort zone" debate?  I certainly think it would legitimize either how good they really are or how well they have been using that warmth to their advantage.

pros? ugh,

I always got tired of going out to the "Rose Bowl" out in Pasadena.  >:( Some of the best games have been played in the snow and the one i remember is when Charles Woodson hit Tom Brady.  :o

Charles should not have hit Brady that damn hard though.  ;D

pros? ugh,
LMAO yes by all means lets watch college or as I like to call it the high school all stars... ;)

college football is nothing more than a circus of horrible plays both offense and defense highlighted by the occasional good play which is only possible b/c of the horrible play of others....

there is a reason only a small percentage of college players make it to play pro ball...

I loved two A Days in Duncan, S.C. and in Greenville, S.C. but i enjoyed playing up North more. I went to games when it was 20 degrees in the stands and the best game ever is the Ice Bowl.  8)

Who was in the Ice Bowl? When I played in high school I liked playing in the snow and cold but sitting in the stands sucks bro.

Bad idea (even though it would give teams like the Patriots an advantage).

Why allow the weather to be a factor? I thought it was bogus when it rained in Miami, back when the colts won it all. That said, there is  far less chance for an extended driving rain in Florida than a snowstorm in New York in the middle of the winter.

I love how people are saying the game is in New York. Jets/Giants stadium is out in Jersey. It's pretty close, but the slightest hint of bad weather and the turnpike + the airports will be a fucking jungle.

I flew into NYC during that massive snowstorm a few months back and It was madness in the city. Imagine if there was the biggest event in the world (aside from the WC) going on?

Dumb.

Think YOUR tired of going out to Pasadena?   I have to go there   every month to pay my cable bill and get my manicure.   But Sc is going to Glendale this year.   I like how the Colege mags have Sc   3rd and 4TH!  in Pac10  and in the teens in the ratings   how dumb....Bark will win the Heisman and SC will be spanking LSU (also overlooked) next yr!
