I got roped into coaching little league for a season. It sucked. Not so much the kids, but the parents. Every one of them thought their kid was the next coming of A-Rod.

"Why isn't my son playing?"

Because he throws like a girl and couldn't hit a beach ball. Now, get out my life. You make me sick.

LOL!!

I was an assistant coach for my kid's team when she was 4, but then we moved up here that summer and I haven't coached since.

What sucks in my case is that my kid really is the second coming of A-Rod - well, Jennie Finch, but you get my point - and I know jack shit about pitching, so I'm essentially worthless to her as a coach anymore.  'Anymore', hell, I didn't even teach her how to hit - she was born with that gift.
