The funniest thing about gays in the military is the dumb ass libs who say with outrage "do you really think homosexuals will be leering at the guys in the shower or making overt passes at the straights in the military"?
Ummm,I thought the very definition of homosexual was being attracted to those of the same sex.How in the name of all thats normal,is it possible that homosexuals will not be aroused,attracted to or leering at naked guys in the barracks or the showers if that is the very definition of homosexuality?If its not a problem then why not co-ed showers and co-ed barracks?
Sorry,this is going to cause problems in the military.Those straights that know for a fact that a homosexual is bunking next to him,and the guy doesnt like the homosexual[even for other reasons not related to his homosexuality]then he will have an excuse to go after the guy verbally or physically and his excuse will be "the homosexual was looking at me with an erection".It will bring nothing but strife and problems to the military.
