Again everyone thanks for all the encouragement even to the haters.  i really trying.  It is just harder than I thought.  the one thing I do when I post or talk is that I do it out of experience.  I have actually lived or done what I am talking about.  I don't tell anyone what to do or give advice on something unless I have lived through it.  The guys who tell me how easy it is never experienced what I have in regards to the weight gain.  It is easy talking shit when you weigh 150 or have literally no muscle.  People like Newmom who has lived through weight loss is someone I respect as I do Tbombz who grew up chubby.  I have experienced all body shapes.  I was skinny as kid (so skinny I didn't make the varsity baseball team cause the cause said I was to small at 130 lbs.), Even though 300 pounds sounds like alot of weight to 99% of the people I lived fine at this weight for almost 15 years.  There isn't anything I could do and do well in regards to sports or moving.  The one thing that has affected me most about the weight gain is my lack of strength in my legs.  I gained this weight by lying in bed.  I had not trained legs seriously since the mid 80's.  My leg work was solely from riding bike and cardio and some calf work.  So when I gained the weight it was hard for me to walk around.  it is still today like that cause my entire lower right leg is so weak.  I appreciate the sincere advice and support.  I really do.  But, I know what I have to do it is just me mentally doing it.  I will and I have already begun.  I am taking it really slow but I know it will come.  When I am ready I will post photos and video.  Don't worry I think I have proved I like posting photos of me.

Hey, Keith, Goodrum posted a device that is supposed to revolutionize training and you said nothing. Not like you to ignor a Goodrum post in a tread re yourself.

You have to admit that some here are experts at doing a lot and getting nowhere.

For the record, I have been saying for years here that obesity or fat or whatever you want to call it is extremely difficult to reverse, overcome or defeat. The point is musclemen

and strong guys shouldn't know fat people. It isn't just a matter of will power and cutting back on calories.

It's not a matter of cutting back on calories? Maybe upping the calories is the answer then? ::)

It is difficult to reverse, this is true. Which is why I said he likely needs some help.

Id like to see him lose weight but it's been said he will for years. History is a good teacher. I really don't think he will.

Age is a nasty thing. One of the things that happens to many is overweight as we age. So it might be easy to maintain a level of fitness and look good when you are young but quite another thing when you are over 40. Modern society makes it easy to live without having to do much in the form of exercise. Obesity is like an epidemic in many modern countries and I can't see any solution at the moment.

What is not appreciated by most bodybuilders is the difficulty to get rid of excess adipose tissue. For a start, most really fat people aren't able to do much re exercise. So that pretty much leaves dieting. The sad truth here is that dieting for fat people leaves them in a starvation mode so that when dieting ends the body quickly regains most if not more than what was lost. Dieting then can easily lead to even more obesity. This is totally overlooked by bodybuilders who smugly believe they could control bodies if left in charge. Anyone with experience in gyms knows it is difficult to get results for obese people.

Good luck to Keith. His poor health recurs and wipes out any success he has had so far. That would discourage anyone. At least he still has the goal and motivation but clearly they are not enough at the moment. Few here appreciate what Keith is dealing with.

I would suggest an ECA stack of roughly 3g E-C-A ed, DNP, 20 i.u. HGH, 1g Clenbuterol, 500mg Winstrol ed.

I would say around 3000 to 4000 on a good day.  If I keep track of what I eat I try to keep it under 2500.  My worst habit is the pastries but I am trying to cut back.  I drink a ton of water.  I know I need to cut carbs.

The body is a mysterious thing. Whatever regulates hunger so that at times we don't have to worry at all and our weight doesn't change? At other times we don't eat much and put on weight!

What are these pastries you are talking about? Must be something special. You know, fat people are not valued or even respected by most. Yet, if it is true that they love food why is it that even fast food companies don't get fatties to endorse them? I guess they don't want people to associate obesity with their product. It is sad the way fat people are treated in most societies. Look at Keith. He is ashamed to leave his place. He isn't the only one. When you restrict your activities what do you do instead? Go on the internet, watch TV, play games and none of this burns up energy. Somehow Keith has got to change his attitude but that isn't going to happen. He doesn't want others to see him like this because he is ashamed of the way he looks. His hatred for excess obesity is making him angry at himself. That anger fuels his desire to show everyone that he can get the old Keith back. When he fails to do so he gets even more deflated and pissed off and wonders when this fat is going to evaporate. That anger can become depression if he isn't careful. Depressed people don't care to do much and thus a vicious circle perpetuates what caused this in the first place.

Vince your so right. I NEVER wanted to leave the house, well except to get food at a drive through or eat in a restaraunt. Never set foot on the beach (only a few miles away).
Yesterday there was a man that came to the gym with a female pro bber (she isnt famous but none the less a pro, I think she is). He was grossly overweight. He got on the treadmill and could barely walk but he was trying. I remember what it was like to be big like that. As I was done running, I gave him a smile, you could tell he was embarrassed or something to that effect. I knew how embarrased I felt the first few months going into the gym, but loosing the weight and keeping at it, well to say the least was a big accomplishment. You get your self esteem back, and Im sorry overweight people IMO suffer from this.

Depression does play a key role. I think most overweight people are emotional eaters. And those who keep it off, same thing, you just know you cant do that anymore. It's tough for sure.
