A "Pride" fighter is someone who established their career in Pride, like Fedor or Crocop. Of Anderson's 30 fights, only 5 were in Pride, two of which he lost

BTW, 11 of those fights have been in the UFC...all wins.

His losses to Sakuraba and Silva?

Rampage was an above-average fighter in Pride but hardly a legend. He didn't win a belt until he embarrassed that joke of a 205 division in the UFC. And now a true Pride legend (Shogun) holds the UFC belt.

dan beat all of his ufc opponents except anderson, another pride fighter

he's also about 40 years old

and a loss is "humiliated"? well i guess the great fedor is the only fighter to not suffer "humiliation"

That's my point. You guys keep trying to play Rampage as a weak Pride fighter, yet he beat Dan Henderson. So which is it?

i never said rampage was a "weak" pride fighter, i said he wasn't a "legend" pride fighter, he never held a title there or won a tournament

dan mostly fights at 185 anyways, maybe dan finally got old and maybe jake shields is becoming an elite fighter, still doesn't change the fact that he won all but one of his ufc fights

It's not so much that, but let's all just discuss the upcoming fight, whatever it may be. Not whether a defunct Pride was better than UFC etc. Or whether Brock is better than Fedor.

THis whole board needs to have better ground rules. I like to read threads, but so many of them get diverted with bullshit that it sometimes makes reading them a pain in the ass.

Anyway, i've decided that i'm getting the PPV. I wish they were a tad cheaper though.
