Let me try to explain something to your child-like mind. Boxing is just one of many facets to hand to hand combat. All else being equal (same size, strength, level of expertise in their respective diciplines) the one with more tools will always win. A
Muy Thai kick boxer will beat a straight boxer all else being equal. An MMA fighter will do the same. Punching means nothing when you are on your back.
Unless you are familar with kicks and ground fighting a boxer will have no chance in the cage. Of course, under boxing rules no MMA fighter will have a prayer in the ring.
