i played NA ftball but the rest of the world cant afford uniforms and the pigout lifestyle.  hence...the beautiful game will rule.

Soccer the only recreational School yard game that is only played every 4 years and last 4 weeks... My only problem with soccer is that it comes back too soon... should be played every 10 years and last 48hours

why hate soccer or any sport?  I can understand if you dont like watching or playing a sport...but hating it?

Every sport has poetic and artistic human qualities that should be enjoyed.  Americans, for the most part, are very xenophobic and insulated from the rest of the world.  They don't travel as much, speak multiple languages(on the whole) and have a very closed media system that caters to their ego and patriotism...this is done by design by the elites.  It's for those reasons that soccer lacks the following in the US...and its sad that we choose not to fully celebrate one of the planets greatest events with the rest of the world...especially as the US (23 american citizens) have qualified.

That actually speaks volumes about American patriotism :-[

Not everyone in the world is capable of playing American football.. Its too much of a man/violent sport and way to strategical of a sport for anyone outside the good ol' US ofA to understand.. the canadians tried but failed badly

Of all the Super bowls, that one?
Clearly the seahawks superbowl was a fix, but not the colts/saints.

But I don't hate it, I know I said I hate it, but it was just for the show.

3. all the awards and first player in club history in hall of fame
4. best ratings for a sporting event
5. america's team  ::) .  boy...it's amazing dallas is america's team again after the superbowl.

BS is BS.  and everything leading into that bowl was BS...just like the Lions refs stopping our super-loaded undefeated team in covington...right Howard White?  :)

As far as i can figure, Americans generally don't care for football/soccer because they aren't world beaters in it. I'd put money on it that many off these haters would be straight on here bragging.

It seems the USA has a good college set up, and although the most talented athletes are likely chasing the cash in the NFL/NBA. (i'm not even counting that lame-ass yawn-fest baseball.) there may come a time when the USA is up there with the best of them.

i'm in louisiana in school n have family here! that means i'm calling it like i see. nfl is fixed just like dollars being betted on ncaa bball games.  yeah...north american sports are legit with all that money at steak.   ::)    

the fix was minnesota.

manning doesnt f##k up with that int and it's 24-24.  ref would have moved the saints down the field for the win...just like against minnesota.

I don't hate it; I've seen some exciting games. But, mostly, they're 90-minute snoozefests with gratuitous grass-diving.
