In many areas in the US, teen suicide is high, and many people do not feel like they have a lot of friends, or a lot going for them. Especially in troubling times, when you feel alone. In high schools, you read about it all the time, when a teen kills herself or himself. Or tries too.
If this guy inspires just a few people to look at life a different way, or be a little thankful for what they have, instead of crying and despairing of what they don't have, he had done what he came out to do.
