Okay. Just found out there where silicone. They had been in there since 1970. She had been warned many times to take them out. But she liked them. However, in August 2005 she decided at age 73 to have them removed because they where starting to "hurt". Well...she went to the appointment for the pre-op they day before surgery and they said...and I quote..."Huh? What is that? A leak?" It had been leaking for 2 weeks from her last mammogram (which coincidentally was when it started to hurt). Long story short, by November 2005 (only 4 months later) she died of a rare breast cancer. Caused by the silicone and due to the age of it and the rupture of it from the mammogram. If you want the really really gory details I can post a link to a pic of what it looks like. Let me tell you. It will make you wanna heave-ho!

I have saline, hopefully they won't leak. Ya know, I never really considered having them at 73 years old though. Can ya send me the link via pm Ab? Thanks.
And I'm sincerely sorry for your dad's and your loss.
I promise to have these babies checked for problems regularly.
