"F%&k My Victims," Madoff Says
www.businessinsider.com

Vince Veneziani | Jun. 7, 2010, 8:41 AM | 504 |  2

It's been a year since Bernard Madoff was sent to prison for operating a $65 billion Ponzi scheme, one of the largest in history (if not the largest).

According to write-up in New York Magazine that meticulously details Madoff's life in prison, Madoff appears to have zero remorse.

Says Madoff: "F$%k my victims."

Ego in-tact, Madoff continues to vent his frustration with inmates and is very candid about his crimes:

New York Mag: Madoff was unmoved. He was past apologizing. In prison, he crafted his own version of events. From MCC, Madoff explained the trap he was in. “People just kept throwing money at me,” Madoff related to a prison consultant who advised him on how to endure prison life. “Some guy wanted to invest, and if I said no, the guy said, ‘What, I’m not good enough?’ ” One day, Shannon Hay, a drug dealer who lived in the same unit in Butner as Madoff, asked about his crimes. “He told me his side. He took money off of people who were rich and greedy and wanted more,” says Hay, who was released in December. People, in other words, who deserved it.

Inmates were impressed by the sheer scale of Madoff’s operation and turned to him for guidance in getting their own ambitions on track. Madoff had always enjoyed being counselor to the wealthy and powerful. That had been part of the scheme’s seduction: Bernie, the scrappy kid from Queens, depended on by rich businessmen. “He wants to be remembered as a titan of Wall Street,” says Fineman, and one who subsidized the private schools and fancy vacations of his wealthy friends, even if it was with the funds of other investors. And to inmates he still was a titan.

I can only imagine the gangsters he is grooming in prison now.  Madoff is probably charging these people for advice in prison on how to scheme others.

Put him in the general population, and Madoff may find some folks who wish to take him up on his offer.

Better then Obama saying "FUCK THE COUNTRY" as he seems to do with every new piece of legislation he supports.

So where is he?

Try your nearest Tropical Carribean or South Pacific Island (there are literally thousands of them) or maybe a nice new bit of plastic surgery on his face and a new location in South America where both he and Ken Lay are laughing their asses off, drinking champagne, eating caviar and talking about how they swindled the fuck out of americans and had MAJOR HELP from your government to do so.

Billionaires DO NOT GO TO JAIL!!!! Does it look like the CEO of BP is going to go to jail or even resign? His company caused a CATASTROPHE in the Gulf and no one has been arrested. If YOU were to go and dump a gallon of gasoline or oil into any river, lake, ocean or onto the ground you would be arrested and fined thousands for contamination and destruction of the environment. Is your government therefore telling you that the wealthy are above crime and punishment and only the little people pay dearly???

Why don't you put your money where your mouth is? Provide hard proof that Madoff and Ken Lay are on a tropical island and I'll delete my account on the spot. If not, you delete yours and fuck off back to the rat's nest that you crawled out of.

You claim to be in the know and talk a big talk. Prove it.

My guess is you'll disappear from this thread as you're an incredibly stupid bastard that isn't capable of substantiating any of the fallacious claims you're constantly making.  :)

So where is he?
He is actually at Butner here in NC.   It is a cakewalk, used to serve as a mental hospital.  Very nice White Collar crime facility where Madoff rests rather comfortably all things considered.

Madoff's Butner Prison Is The "Crown Jewel" Of Federal Prison System

John Carney | Jul. 13, 2009, 4:18 PM | 10,709 | comment 23

Bernie Madoff won’t be serving his life sentence in a hellhole.

The North Carolina prison where the convicted Ponzi schemer has been to serve his life sentence is considered "the crown jewel" of the federal prison system. It’s a place where many convicts hope to be sent. It may not be "club Fed" but it is the closest thing that exists in the federal prison system to a country club prison.

The Butner Federal Correctional Complex is about 45 minutes northeast of Durham. From the outside you could mistake it for a college campus, except perhaps for the barb-wire.

It’s often sought after by convicts because its staff and facilities have a good reputation. There are no hardcore maximum security type criminals there. It’s all minimum, low and medium security.
Former Enron CEO Jeff Skilling requested he be allowed to serve his sentence there.

Butner is also known for having excellent medical facilities, especially its cancer-treament programs. There have been rumors that Madoff has been diagnosed with cancer.

Butner houses about 3,600 inmates. Notables include former U.S. Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham, former Adelphi CEO John Rigas, and former Navy intelligence analyst Jonathan Pollard. In the past the Butner prison has housed would be presidential assassin John Hinckley Jr. and televangelist Jim Bakker.

It’s not totally safe for prisoners, however. Madoff may well find himself in fights with other inmates. As the saying goes, in minimum security prisons you get punched, and in medium security prisons you get knifed.

It’s not clear whether Madoff will be in low or medium security. The length of Madoff's sentence would typically preclude him from being housed in the minimum-security prison.

He's been online since I made that post. Not surprising that he's taken to hiding and avoiding this thread.

Easy to talk a big game on the internet when one doesn't have to substantiate any of the claims they make.

Another american idiot. You went through a Savings and Loans Scandal, a Dot Com Scandal, a Corporate Scandal, a energy scandal, a Real Estate Scandal, a Banking Scandal, a Wall Street Scandal, a housing scandal and now a catastrophic environmental disaster scandal and you are laughing? Not one person in all of these scandals, which has rocked america to its foundation and cost easily 100 TRILLION, has gone to jail and if so spent a short time in one of these CLUB MED vacation places with golf courses, wine, tennis courts and all the luxuries your wildest dreams could not attain.

What you should have learned about american THEFT is it takes BIG WHEELS and MANY HANDS to accomplish the task that Madoff and those scoundrels before him managed to do. There is no such thing as stealing money or not knowing where it is or went.....

I think we all know... in the history of mankind, there probably have been cases of people buying their way out of a jail term, paying someone else to go in for them, paying for paperwork to be changed, whatever.  People with millions and billions get their way all the time, and there's plenty of instances of bribes at the street level for $100... no doubt rich people get their way.

Still, there is no evidence of that here with madoff, and no evidence of ken lay or anyone else.  But there wouldn't be.  So it'll be one of those things that we'll never know.  Now, let's drink our wine and be merry...

Bump for a certain chicken shit coward making bold claims, telling others they're stupid when challenged on said claims, then disappearing when someone wants to put accounts on the line.

Samson, once again, is exposed for a lying coward.  :)

I don't read most of what you post on the board, gimmick, but your contention that Madoff and Ken Lay are not really in prison, but basking in the sun on some island is really funny.  And you have the nerve to call people stupid?  LOL!   ;D

Samson - are you taking BF's challenge?

Somehow I expect more intelligence from you 3 am I wrong?,  I better stop expecting so much from people. You scream the loudest on this board about corruption, the wealthy, liberals yadda yadda yadda. How convenient it was that Ken Lay dropped dead before sentencing, Madoffs stolen money can't be found and records mysteriously disappeared, remember World Trade 7 and its mysterious collapse just as the SEC which was being investigated was about to have a decision handed down on it, or how about the CIA which also had offices in the building having its supposed terrorist information destroyed with its collapse, OH an yeah all of that GOLD and SILVER that went missing from the WTC collapse. Have you not learned anything????? I like the post of 240 at least he is wise enough to see. I gave everyone the examples of all of the corruption and people involved...Can you tell me why NO ONE WENT TO JAIL AFTER HAVING STOLEN TRILLIONS IN ALL OF THE SCANDALS THAT ROCKED AMERICA? No pictures of them in jail or going to jail for the ones claimed to have been sent? Those that supposedly went immediately came out and did the talk show and lecture circuit for 100,000s per pop. Michael Millken, Dennis Levin and Ivan Boesky main figures in the Savings and Loan scandal and the stealing of BILLIONS. Ken Lay, World Com, Arthur Anderson etc etc yadda yadda...where are their pictures adn what prison are they in?...huh?...You don't know?

You damn right you don't know, because not one of them went to jail and not one paid a dime stolen back to the robbed. To add insult to injury they were paid Millions each to lecture about how to get wealthy afterward...AYFKM (are you fucking kidding me?)

So don't expect pictures of Madoff, BP CEO, Bush, Cheney, Condelezza etc etc to ever be in the papers and really don't expect that they will ever go to jail regardless if they caused wars, cost lives, shot people in the face, stole Trillions etc etc

Who the fuck is going to read that 5,000 word excuse. You got called out for spewing bullshit, attacking others that called you on it, and now you won't put your money where your mouth is. Beat around the bush all you want, in the end you're just a sniveling liar of a Muslim that consistently proves you have zero credibility on any issue that you're talking about.

Either post proof of them living on an island or shut the fuck up. You talk the talk and call anyone who disagrees with you an idiot. Let's see you back it up for once, gimmick. You claimed that the real Ken Lay and Madoff are on an island somewhere while one faked his death and the other has a body double, completely with massive plastic surgery, in his place in jail. Prove it. And that doesn't mean typing up some rambling, incoherent meltdown. Let's see some evidence as you appear to be quite sure on this and we're all just morons.  ::)
