This guy got robbed for the overall, he was insane from the back. I have seen this type of chest developement once before on a training partner, must be a genetic thing.

I totally agree, i was there for prejudging and that patterson kid was my pick for the overall.

He got robbed at the cal show the next weekend as well.

Thats bodybuilding for ya though, it doesnt matter what u look like.

I wish I knew you were there....I drove over for pre-judging as well. The kid looked superior to everyone in the show, I thought he was a lock for the overall.

Kid looks awesome. Guy that won clearly has inferior structure but stand them side by side before making a decision. For all we know the bigger guy is 3" taller and dwarfs him.

IMO he looks more like 3-4 weeks out but wtf do I know. Dont look bad, but without even looking at other competitors I'd venture to say he didn't deserve it

its a huge show and these guys aren't in shape like this for nothing the usa's are around the corner,jr national's,so they are closing in or in top shape to qualify and get to the bigger stage.obviously they stand out from your usual novice or decent open competitor they are national level guys.
