No one knows who that is/was.

There's probably no named competition recognizable to the general public beyond the Olympia and Arnold Classic. Between the two events, no one would even know who won after a few months aside from those seriously interested in bodybuilders.

The only recognizable name anyone in the general public would know is "Arnold Schwarzenegger".

Sounds great!

You going to have an evening gown, talent show (Kai would own this) and I feel that the world would be a better place, question?

The general public doesn't know him or Ferigino(sp?) from bodybuilding.

Worldwide it has to be NASSER EL SONBATY.  He is very famous throughout europe, middle east and asia.  Not so much in the USA.

USA it has to be either Chris Cook or Trey Brewer.

No, but most would know that he was a bodybuilder at some point.

personal names obviously arnold

as far as 'titles', Mr. Universe, Mr.America, and Mr.Olympia are all the same in the minds of the general public as 'a man/men with muscles'

You want to lease the title 'Mr. America!?' Ouch. How much can you devalue something that is already devalued?

Seriously.  I thought this was what the thread was about.

I'd go for Mr. Universe though if you are looking to name a contest.  It does appear in the vernacular sometimes. e.g. Who does he think he is, Mr. Universe?

Well someone should register the Mr. america mark in class 025 and grab the t-shirt class.  Then they can lease that to you.  Also, I think that was a waste of $325 filing fee

Here ya go.

Sell, lease, or license "Mr America" to those already promoting the Arnold so they can run a natural show on stage along with other events going on that weekend. Everything imaginable (schmoes, booths, fitness hoes, needle dicks who did pre-expo prep hoping to peak that weekend, food) will already be in place...... there's nothing to sell and minimal promotion involved.

It would be a very politically correct way to make some nice money promote natural bodybuilding.

All you'd really have to handle is the merchandising and prejudging. Merchandising could be farmed out to someone experienced and pre-judging spots could be raffled off to schmoes who'll be attending anyways. You could literally have them paying you to look at oiled men in thongs!!!

I'd appreciate a new Rolex stainless steel Daytona as thanks. The gold is a bit showy for someone with plain tastes, like me. And don't even think about sending some faulex off the street, my daughter's godfather is a jeweler. :)
