hoyo de monterey....never smoked a bad one
Cheers medz. Pretty sure I've seen them at the local shop but don't think I ever got around to it. I'll check 'em out.
Bolivar for a bolder taste. Fonseca probably my fav love that rich almost chocolaty taste.
Had my first Fonseca today, their Lonsdale #1. It was advertised as being quite mild but I wouldn't describe it as such, so it caught me a little unaware. Still had a nice flavor, a little bite, no faults, and an excellent burn because I was making it last. For some reason it reminded me of a friends house from when I was a kid. Haven't thought about that guy in years. Funny how sense memory works.
I am with you bro. $25 for a cigar! Bag of kind bud costs $50 and you're high for dayz. Nothing against cigar smokers though, to each his own. My prob is I am so programmed to inhale when I try to smoke a cigar I cant not inhale. Do Marlboro reds count? Smoke them like a champ.
$25 would be a
very upmarket cigar in the US. That's no guarantee of quality (screw Davidoff) but you'd get an awesome Padron or a God of Fire for less than that. Probably one of each and some change.
Have a cigar and smoke it however you want, inhale, not, whatever. Then have a cigarette. Cigs taste like they came out of a chemical bath. I'm not convinced there's any tobacco in those things.
No Cuban hookup here in the states for me so that what I go with for a good cigar.
Ya the one I had was nothing to argue with. Can't remember the make of it but it was a tubo (only slide tubo I've ever seen) and about 5.5" with a robusto gauge. I remember thinking it was almost too smooth at the start, but that's what I'm moving toward these days so I'll have another look at it.
This guy isn't smart enough to understand this comment. Well stated might I add!
Thanks X. He just hasn't seen that once in awhile the trolling gets put aside and we have a regular thread without the usual ballbusting.
