If this comes true, what are the implications? It looks like USC could be in deep sh&t already, add in Oklahoma and Texas, and that conference is going to be a nightmare.

We shall see but this came in!! USC has been hit with a two-year post-season ban in addition to the loss of scholarships, among other penalties from NCAA.   :o

from what i heard today texas and a &m want to keep the big 12 alive...if they dont they have to have a garuntee that says they play each other every year...

I hope they do I know its a long shot but the university of Houston is stronger than probably half of the big 12 teams and with half the recruiting so id like to see them move up into a BCS conference but it doesnt look like that will happen  :-\ >:( >:( >:(

The Big Ten is seriously making a push to get Texas! I doubt it will happen though.  :'(

I seriously doubt that texas will go anywhere without a&m and vice versa that rivalry is so steeped in tradition its ridiculous, theyve been playing each other longer than most colleges have been around.

i read something about that too i think that makes more sense logistically for texas teams seeing as the SEC also has a number of teams here in the south...I think A&M would get eating alive in the SEC at least for the first few years but they havent done anything in the last 10 years or so now so...

Texas is smart to try and keep the big 12 alive they pretty much have a lock on that division which means they get good bowl games etc...

if they went to the SEC they would have stiff competition and they dont want that and I cant say that I blame them.
