But.. you're gutless.
Perhaps. At a later date I may be more willing to deal with BS lawsuits, but for the moment I don't have time for that - I am backlogged rather substantially on my site and only now catching up. Check out thread #9266 on my site and you will see that I have quite a bit of catching up to do. I need a new template for the home page and lots of other things. For the time being, I can't be spending hours dealing with people through e-mail, attempting to deescalate matters and so on.
I think at the moment the freest big bodybuilding board on the internet would be getbig. My site is a little more lenient when it comes to speech but not nearly as big. With time I may be able to have a best of both worlds scenario but not at the moment. Perhaps I was simply naive to the risks associated with such a board.
I have talked to several people in the industry as well as elsewhere and they have been encouraging my recent moves.
I’ve never been an anonymous poster.. I’ve always revealed my real identity.
Great, I can respect that. I also think it is perfectly reasonable for Dan to take personal responsibility for his posts. Why should I have to have four threats of legal action sent to me? I will take accountability for my posts, but to have to consistently deal with his posts is not fair to me.
You are the one running around endorsing free speech, in an attempt to attract posters to your board. That’s why you look so pathetic now; your actions are in direct opposition to what you supposedly believe in, because fully supporting that belief is inconvenient for you.
Fully supporting that belief is unrealistic for me at the moment, but this will change as I catch up with things down the road. My board is still rather free in terms of speech.
This is what I don't understand: My board is still rather small in terms of posting members and so on, so why won't Dan migrate everything to a separate board? I would say that within weeks or months he would have the same amount of traffic as I have on my board. So what's the big deal? Could it be that Dan wants me to bear the legal risks and not him? I could understand if my board was HUGE, but it is not. So what's the big deal?
I think.. that Alex should not attempt to lean out. He would lose a lot of size and look strange. Some guys are meant to be large.
Good point. This is similar to Mike Arvilla I think where he is huge when bulked but loses an above average amount of muscle while dieting down. Mike as well is meant to be large I think. Not necessarily fat, just not ultra-shredded.
