Thanks, mang! I've been trying to prioritize my triceps and agree that it's good to warm them up too. I usually just do something that gives them a good stretch first, then work back and fourth between bis and tris. Gives it a good pump and keeps the blood flowing in the arms.
You're right about the time thing too. I started off at fucking 100lbs soaking wet because I was sick of being such a puss. Not wanting to irritate the veteran lifters I almost never did direct arm work and just focused on the compound lifts. One of them said not to worry about what others think and to train instinctively and just fucking do what works... fuck, great advice but I wish I was told that earlier lol
My guns are just shy of 17" and I'm cutting pretty hard. If I don't train for a week or so they sit just over 16". I shouldn't complain too much, but it's just that huge arms without a pump looks sick. And everyone respects big, cut up guns. Hope to get 'em jacked up like yours too, bro!
