Olympic bar curls, hammer curls, reverse curls

So i was thinking to try and get my Back and Chest back  down so it can match my arms.

As for training what would be a good routine for me? Because at the moment all im doing is

Biceps/ calfs/ traps

Triceps, calves, some legs

I dont like training legs seriously anymore so anyone got any suggestions? thxs

But the way, im on a diet too

Quad sets most always seems to work for a lot of guy's. Can use for any body part, but adapt well for increased arm size.

Example..use any movement you wish:

1) Triceps- overhead DB extension
2) Bicep- EZ close grip curl
3) Tricep- press down- kneeling
4) Bicep- DB alternate curl

No rest between sets. Rest from 90 to 120 seconds and than do another cycle. Two to three cycles at the most. 7-9 reps each. Twice a week. Insert after any other group of body parts worked. You are never going to isolate the bicep/triceps, each works with one another. And one will not function completely without the involvement of the other.

Can also run the rack, starting with a pair if 10's. AS you workup to higher pairs of DB's the reps will drop to 2's or 3's. When that happens begin going down the rack, using lighter weight. All the way down to the original 10's. If you feel the need for two cycles than do them. But one cycle (if done correctly) should be enough for most. Insert them at the end of any workout day, twice a week. Running the Rack will also work extemely well when doing DB presses (Gironda/LarryScott). And to a lesser degree, lateral raises.

I can think of 3 or 4 other advanced arm programs, off the top of my head. Lot's out there. Just a suggestion, but most do not ever need a special day for arms only, unless you are doing the One Day Arm Program, which has worked for many BB'ers. Though a few people fail at it because they don't understand the concept and do it wrong in the first place. Good Luck.

Hey jpm101, do you really think that its possible to make good progress training a muscle group twice a week if you are a natural trainer? I know that in my case I would start to regress and lose size and strength training a muscle group twice a week. In fact, I have performed numerous experiments upon myself, due to my obsessive nature, and I have found out that I dont make progess unless I train each muscle group once every 6 to 8 days.

thinkin its closer to this because ur chest and back are a stronger muscle group anyway,,, its the majormuscle groups of the upper bod complex,,, they are bigger than ur arms,,, its a good thing in the long run,, just giv a lil more attention to arms, they'll catchup... some guys have great arms and pigeon chest and narrow backs so u have the better of the 2... to untrained they think a big arm = big guy but to ppl in the know/athletes or trained individuals,,, guys w big chst backs and shldrs r the real big boys...

ive been trying to 'bring up my arms' to match chest for years now...they just stay small. with high insert biceps and small muscle bellies on the forearms, theres just nothing you can do about it

try it out. it doesnt mean lift easy, just stay a couple reps shy of failure on most every set. helps ensure recovery

i do boxing, lifting heavy legs isnt the best way to do it IMO

Howard, what if i just didnt train Back and Chest at all....would that make them smaller?


u dont want to make them smaller....thats u going backwards and deleting the hard work u put in....makes no sense

just maintain ur back and chest with some light weight high reps low sets

and up the weight on ur arm exercises ..... simple as that

if ur a tallish ectomorph then u have gentics going against u but stick in there

 Yes I work out 5 days a week hard this is my split and the logic behind it
Monday arms
Tuesday legs (rest upper body)
Wednesday chest (rest lower body
Thursday back bi ( rest tris and front delts)
friday delts and tris ( rest bis )
weekend rest

this fellas body must produce 5-6 units of gh a day lol no sane person train 5 days in a raw unless chemical in system and even the ones with chemicals in system usually go 2 on one off or max 3 on 1 off,,

but! your jemaican food is good for muscle ,,IF AND ONLY ONLY IF on gh and aas! that jerk chikan with plantains and rice and peas will get you big and ripped in no time on 2-4 units gh and 1 gram test a week :)
