HOMELESS
HUNGRY
HIV+
So saturday i went to new york again. the mission was to go to johns on bleeker street and also bring back cheesecake for my friend calvin.
the trip was not that great.
my friend and I got to the train station at 9:40 am...it was not busy...we bought our tickets and metro card, and then i had to go to the lil store there to get some waters...they did not have any litres, so i had to get 4 pints. then we headed down to the platform.
the train was set to come at 10:03...and it was 9:50 and there was a train just sitting there-i thought about getting on it-but then realized it wasnt it.
so the train finally came and we found some good seats...then i figured out we were next to the bathroom...so we moved.
i thought it was an express train...but no...it was a dumb local train so there were tons of dumb stops.
while in harlem this weird family got on...they all had similar faces-it was nuts
then we finally got to new york and we got off the train...it wasnt too busy but i still walked with my hands in my pocket to protect my wallet and cell phone and keys.
i found my way to juniors cheesecake and decided what to get. i saw the carrot cake and also the cheesecake carrot cake and i realized that a few weeks ago when i was upset that i got just plain carrotcake that it was prob the fault of the idiot person that worked at the store and they gave me the wrong cake
so i got blueberry cheesecake and it was sooooooooo good...soo soo good
so then we made our way to the subway to get the 6 train to go to bleeker street...while walking in the subway i saw a homeless man sitting on a bench looking bad and he had a sign that said "homeless hungry HIV+...very freaky
so we got on the subway and arrived at the bleeker street...the ride was nice...not crowded and there were actually open seats...there was this loud homeless man preaching gospel on the subway and cleaning up trash on the floor-he looked very clean
so we began walking off the subway and we did not know where to go to get to bleeker street-so we asked the subway hag in the info booth and she told us loudly in her microphone...so we walked up the steps onto the street and there was a homeless man laying on the steps
we made it onto the street and i asked a cop how to get to bleeker st-and she told me-on the way i stopped for a pretzel and the vendor told me they were a bit not hot but the best in the city-i ate it and disagreed-it was not good at all
on the way to the pizza place we walked by 2 druggy looking homeless people on the street begging and yelling for help-i felt bad
it was a long walk to 298 bleeker-the weather was hot very hot-we walked by a 2 boots pizza and it looked so good- wish we had gone there
so we finally got close to the place and everything looked familair from the last time we went years ago
we got to johns and were seated...at 1st i thought we were 1 booth over from the table we sat at years ago-i was complaining to my friend about how the dumb lady sitting at the table took our seat-and i knew she heard me-i kept giving her dirty looks-but then we realized we were at the same table
our pizza came quick and it was not good...not like i remember-no flavor to it-so disspaointing
so we ate our food and left and made our way back-we stopped at the adidas store and looked around-very busy and chaotic
then we went back int he subway but couldnt figure out how to get back to grand central so we asked the same subway hag in the booth and she told us...so we had to find our way and we did eventually-we got on the subway and arrived at grand central and at about 1:08...i wanted to get cheesecake for calvin but my dumb friend made us get the 1:10 train...it was 1:09 when we read the sceduele on the screen..we had to run to the train...all i wanted was that last piece of cheesecake
im going back this sat by myself to go to lombardis and eat cheesecake
