One thing I don't agree is the SS pay. How does an illegal PAY into a system when they aren't taxed and are paid off the books?? The truly only thing that biz benefits is the cheap labor. We are paying for the free healthcare they receive, the schooling for their kids, and the crime.

50% of illegals are paying income tax.  I've stated and sourced it before.  Also they pay taxes on the money they spend.  It's not like they are hoarding millions of dollars here people.

I would guess it would be more if when amnesty passes but like you say many are illegal and don't want to be caught.

The problem is that the Fed gov benefits from this mess while the State and local govts have to pick up the tab.

The state gets a healthy kickback, too. There's no way to analyze the numbers accurately, but I would bet money that the country would take a pretty severe financial hit if the gov't actually dealt with illegal aliens. The cost of prosecuting, the cost of cheap labor and the billions they contribute to the tax system and never take out.
