Yeah the R8 V10 sounds worlds better too. Same with the Gallardo's V10.

Great points , they both sound much better than a Viper , I drove a 1996 GTS when they first came out and I'll tell you the sound was very underwhelming , nice looking car but it left a lot to be desired , I seen a Gallardo at full tilt and that sound was awesome.

ok cool  so just firing order change,  that changes the cam too!!!  what cylinders get swapped,   in the big ci. engines like 700 and up  we often change 7 and 4 .

thats a good article,    we change 7 and 4  due to the load put on the cam and the timing that it is put on it,  with the size of the cams we run we use a valve spring that has just over 400lbs of seat pressure closed valve,  and almost 1300lbs open valve.  this was breaking the cam with the stock bbc firing order  so when we swapped that it fixed it, its a pretty common thing now in drag racing engines anyway
