x2. I don't like them here and would be very pissed off too but I've got to say at least they work. I can hire a few of them (for decent $, I'm not paying slave wages) right after the farming season to help me with my business for a few days and they will work their asses off. Most of them send a percentage of their hard-earned money back to their families in their native land and I've got to respect that.

Hell, I wish we could trade one minority for the other. These ppl ACTUALLY WANT to work. I do believe they need to assimilate correctly (learn English & become a citizen) or get out though.

People everywhere are proud of their heritage. I don't know where you're from, but you find a reason to be proud despite being around a long ass time and still not being a world power. But I'm sure there's good schnitzel, or vodka, or some reason for you to feel important.

Not me.  My accomplishments are something I'm proud of, but being proud of circumstances of birth is something I can't relate to.  It's like being proud of rolling a seven.  Maybe it's a different kind of pride.  I never felt as though I had a particular cultural heritage anyway so I never understood this sort of thing.  ____ pride (Latino, Black, Gay, Carribean... you can put any word in the blank except 'White') always strikes me as repackaged tribalism, PC racism, we're so great we're better than the rest of you, etc.

How hard to understand the aisle signs for Tools, Bath, lumber, Electric, Flooring, etc. And the very hard to understand "Mens" sign of course has to read "banos". Lowes and Home Depot have all these signs in SoCal.  The illegals all seems to understand  ER , social services, welfare office, family aid, etc very well without being in Spanish.  The Bar's and Liquor Stores don't have signs in Spanish. A few in the crappy area's may.

 Not race hate, just being annoyed that these law breakers disrespect the US borders and laws. Law breakers by the fact that they entered the US illegally. Not to mention the high rate of TB,STD and other infections  among them. A fact not mentions on the news. Getting into the US legally requires a health check, a workable skill, passable  English, education and crime background check.

I agree and this goes for any country that someone decides to relocate to, the best thing you could do for yourself and others is to learn the national language.

Yes, but do you know why McDonald's menus have the actual photo of the food on it?  That's because a lot of Americans can't read.  Putting a photo to appease those that can't read and putting something in spanish for those that don't know english are the same thing.

90% of these 'mexicans' are actually good honest hardworking people, who DO try very hard to learn english. they come over because they are dirt poor and have nothing and are looking for work.

Went across the street to Home Depot and the signs were just English. that made KH300 happy so I had no problem doing business with them.
